March 16: Travel to the desert for the Wildflower Superbloom
After all the rains, we expect a super wildflower bloom in two weeks.
There is an opportunity to take a Day Trip to Anza Borrego to see the
flowers and ride with Stephanie Reed-Elliott in her Sprinter. There is room
for ten passengers.
We will meet at UUFSD at 9:30 on Saturday, March 16.
First stop is the famous Dudley’s Bakery, then on to lunch
(on your own) in Julian (90 minutes). After that we head through
the mountain lilacs down into Anza Borrego for the floral
display which is predicted to be spectacular.
Cost is $75, all proceeds to UUFSD.
