Did you know that there are more than 1600 members of the Church of the Larger Fellowship who are behind bars? These folks found UUism through word of mouth in the prisons. They are in all 50 states except Alaska.
Tanner Linden, Outreach Director, of the Church of the Larger Fellowship, will join us after the service on DECEMBER 4 IN THE CORE AREA to write greetings to these incarcerated members. Many have no family and would otherwise have no messages during the holidays.
We will receive names and addresses from Tanner and he will instruct us on how
to reach out to these UUs who comprise one of the largest congregations in our denomination. The process is very similar to the one which many of us used to write to voters during the mid-terms. See you there!
