Interfaith Network Overnight Shelter.
UUFSD will be partnering with St. James Catholic Community in Solana Beach to provide overnight shelter for individuals and families without homes from January 12-19, 2020.
As in previous years, St. James will provide the space where people can stay and UUFSD will provide hosts and hostesses to welcome them, provide meals, join them during dinner and also one volunteer to stay each night. When you volunteer to come for dinner, your children are welcome to join in. However you volunteer, you will be adding significantly to the comfort and safety of this group and you will have the opportunity to connect on a one-to-one basis. Volunteer sign-ups will begin on the patio between services on Sunday December 15 and continue through Sunday January 5.
