Building & Grounds Committee Update May 30, 2020

Dear B&Gers,

We go a lot done this week:

Robin M. & I removed furniture from the library & covered the bookcases with plastic in preparation for the floor refinishing on Tuesday June 2
Charles & Chris F. continued power washing the core area. Mike Karen Kowalski let us borrow their power washer to help speed up our progress as we continue with the YRUU Patio, Core & Amphitheater
Michael Scott found many broken sprinklers and dead batteries on the watering solenoids. This is important as the vegetation goes from being overgrown to being dried- out this summer
Ken Shultz worked on the fallen tree in Pinecone class room , cut branches and loaded the dumpster with Betsy
Jim Hagen worked 5 days in the last 2 week cleaning drains and cutting numerous tree branches
Jon added additional sand bags for our Amphitheater erosion control project
