NO TO U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT’S (ICE) REQUESTS FOR NOTIFICATIONS AND TRANSFERS

ACLU Statement: All San Diegans deserve to live in a region where everyone can thrive, not where families are torn apart by deportation or where an encounter with law enforcement can result in deportation. We invite you to join us in demanding the San Diego Sheriff’s Department stop using vital county resources to aid federal immigration authorities in detaining and deporting loved ones from our community. The Sheriff and San Diego County Board of Supervisors need to know this collaboration harms all of us.
The UUFSD Immigrant Support Group recommends that members and friends of UUFSD support the ACLU statement by signing our petition to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
