Generosity Sundays began around 2003 at the urging of our then minister Rev Dr. Kathy Fuson Hurt. She shared the success of several other UU churches donating their Sunday service financial offering one Sunday a month to a worthy non-profit organization involved in some form of social justice work. We have always been a generous community and continue this giving tradition. I encourage any of you who are affiliated with or know of an organization with 501C3 (non-profit ) status to invite them to apply for financial support from UUFSD. The application is on our website, uufsd.org in the Social Justice menu.
