Late-night TV celebrity Amber Ruffin has a sister (Lacey) living in their home state of Nebraska. She is a mix of polite, beautiful, petite, and Black, apparently making people think “I can say whatever I want to this woman.” Strangers put their whole hand in her hair, mistake her for a prostitute, refuse to sell her donuts, etc.
Amber and Lacey share entertainingly horrifying stories that tackle modern-day racism with the perfect balance of levity and gravity.
