Capital Campaign and Construction Update

Dream Builders Committee is happy to announce the City of Solana Beach has issued a long-awaited building permit for the remodel and addition to our Administration Building. This is a milestone for the Fellowship as this project is the first phase of the original Capital Campaign work scope, initiated almost 10 years ago, to move from concept to design and into construction. Chris Kolb is the general contractor and anticipates starting construction during the week after Thanksgiving. Please be careful around construction activities and allow for construction materials, equipment, and vehicles. Fellowship member Clint Stoddard is our liaison to the general contractor and any comments or concerns you have regarding construction should be directed to him (clint.stoddard@gmail.com)

Phase 2 (Fire truck Turnaround & Expanded parking), Phase 3 (Amphitheater Shade Structure) and Phase 4 (Amphitheater AV Kiosk and Toilet Rooms) of the Capital Campaign are currently in the construction document stage and we anticipate the Architect’s team will submit their work to the City of Solana Beach and California Coastal Commission for building permit review just after the first of the year. Mark your calendar for January 21 for an informational update to the congregation following Sunday Service.
