As part of a continuing educational program to better understand the current Palestine/Israel crises, the UUFSD Palestine-Israel Justice Group will present a film, “1948 Creation & Catastrophe,” with a discussion to follow.
This documentary film provides a detailed account of the events that led to the Palestinian displacement from their homeland and the establishment of the State of Israel. The film features interviews with historians, scholars, and other experts on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as archival footage and photographs that illustrate the key events and personalities of the time.
