Dear UUFSD B&G Workers and Potential Volunteers,

Our March 10 Work Party was rained out and April had conflicts with other activities on site. We’d like to get back on our regular monthly schedule. Our next UUFSD B&G Work Party will be on Saturday, May 5 from 9:00 AM to noon, followed by lunch. Here are some suggested tasks. What else needs to be done? Please take a look and offer your corrections and suggestions. And please let me know if you can make it. Thanks!

1. We need to trim the plants along the entrance and around the site. Pull weeds along Solana Drive, trim vines outside Founders’ Hall, whack agave sprouts, pull dead yucca fronds outside Office, pull wild cucumbers along the paths, trim and sweep as needed.

   We need a Leader and a few Workers, please.

2. We should replace some of the sand bags that help avoid mud flows when it rains.

   We need a Leader/Worker, please.

3. Repair the Amphitheater Kiosk overhead door.

   We need a couple Leaders, please

4. The motion detector/light sensor outdoor light at Pinecones is acting up and needs diagnosis and cure. Also there are reports that some of our path lights aren’t working right.

   We need a Leader and a Helper, please.

5. Prepare lunch for hungry workers.
   We need a Chef or two, please.
