The UUFSD community is particularly important to me. Over my many years at this fellowship, I have developed deep and, sometimes unlikely, friendships. I’ve been challenged to consider points of view outside my comfort zone, and am definitely the better for it. I’ve laughed and cried and hugged and been deeply present for so many life events. I have both given and received immeasurable support for unthinkable challenges, large and small. I’ve learned that **we** ARE the community and that ministers come and go, sometimes staff come and go, but we endure and we are, literally, the community of ourselves. And I couldn’t be more grateful for all of you.
