Your life is a story, come save it with us! We have all been on an odyssey of unending storms, dreams, laughter and tears; this is your chance to create a memoir out of it all. When Women Write Their Lives is a weekly, life writing class of supportive guidance in the inspired company of women who will help you find, write and share your life’s stories. This is your opportunity to touch into the hidden rewards of memoir and the safety of a writer’s circle as you write and complete your “Mighty Mini Memoir”. The class is designed for those just beginning to enter into the writer’s life. Come join Lois Sunrich, who has been teaching and coaching women for over 30 years, as we share in the rich fruits of a women’s life writing circle.
Bio:
Lois Sunrich is known for her expertise in women’s story, life writing, publishing, and books arts, as well as producing city-wide story art community projects. For the past 30 years, Lois has facilitated life writing retreats and circles locally and in Japan, as a tool to help uncover and maintain creativity in our lives. She is the founder of Storymakers, a 10-year women’s journal writing project and Founding Director of StoryArts, Inc. a nonprofit organization celebrating life’s stories.
Fee: $180 tuition, additional $10 material fee
