We build peace not in a vacuum but in structures and in choices. The most important choice we make as UUs is to be in community. What are the structures of peace in this Fellowship, and can we offer them to the world? President John F. Kennedy once spoke of Peace “eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures,” but could we also build Peace boldly, grandly, or extravagantly?
