It is easy to become overwhelmed by the steady drumbeat of bad news about our climate. Being mindful of this, I will focus on encouraging recent developments, including emerging bipartisan support in the US for a price on carbon, faster-than-expected adoption of electric cars, and the astonishing drop in the price of solar and wind power.
