Rev. Shelton (UU Nashville) will be at First UU from January 25-27, 2019 to work with our cluster congregations. You will enjoy Shelton’s enthusiasm and “Nashville vibe” (https://jasonsheltonmusic.com). He was instrumental in the creation of our teal hymnal. There will be lots of singing and sharing. While there is not charge for participation, there will be a good-will offering.
Friday, January 25, 6:30pm to 8:30pm – We’ll explore our hymnals and the ways in which we share the sources of our faith through what we sing.
Saturday, January 26, 9:30 – noon & 1:00-3:30 PM – “Where do we come from? Where are we? Where are we going?” We’ll dig deeper into the ways in which music has shaped our tradition, how we have used music to share that tradition. Please bring your own lunch or be prepared to visit the UCSD cafeteria or nearby restaurants.
Sunday, January 27 – Rev. Shelton will preach in both the 9:30 & 11:30 AM Sunday services at First UU (Hillcrest).
