I’m calling to ask Senator [HARRIS/FEINSTEIN] to support S. 3076, which would establish a bipartisan independent commission to study the federal response to the devastation in Puerto Rico after Hurricanes Maria and Irma. A recent Harvard study shows that the storms killed 4,645 people – over 70 times the official death toll of 64. Legislators are concerned that this artificially low number shaped FEMA’s response to the devastation.”
