Starting Sept 2, we will be handing out Trader Joe’s shopping bags in the Core Area for you to fill with items for our annual drive of food, toiletries and cleaning products for the CRC. Filled bags will be collected from October 13 through November 11.

As per last year, the Food Pantry is in need of the following:

• Oils
• Spices
• Dried fruit
• Condiments
• Dry rice and beans
• Oatmeal

We are also always in need of personal care items- now more than ever:

• Shampoo/conditioner
• Body lotion/body wash
• Toilet paper/paper towels
• All-purpose cleaners

Please do not bring “giant” containers as we cannot break down the item into sizes people can purchase with their points. For instance, a huge jug of oil cannot be poured out into several regular sized bottles or a big bag of beans cannot be apportioned into baggies for distribution.

Of course, a gift of money is always appreciated as the Food Pantry can buy in bulk at quite a savings.
