How do we tune our hearts to what is life-giving and growing among us, even when we don’t know what is ahead? In a climate of so much fear and uncertainty, how do we sustain our spiritual connections and remain hopeful? In this time of major leadership transition for UUFSD, our UUA regional staff contact reflects with us on learning from our past and planting seeds for the future, both in our congregational life and in our personal lives.
Bio:
Rev. Sarah Gibb Millspaugh is our congregation’s primary contact on the Pacific Western Regional Staff of the Unitarian Universalist Association. A life-long UU and a minister since 2005, Sarah has served our faith as a congregational minister, a developer of curricula (including OWL and Coming-of-Age), as well as a UUA staffer. On the PWR team, Sarah focuses on conflict transformation and healing from professional misconduct, and is involved in our national efforts for anti-racist/multicultural change. She lives in San Diego with her husband John, a community-based UU minister, their elementary schooler and their goofy dog.
