It also requires presidential candidates to disclose 10 years of tax returns and prohibits members of Congress from using taxpayer dollars to settle sexual harassment cases. Affirm the democratic process by calling your US Representative with this script: “Hi. My name is [NAME] and I am a constituent from [CITY, ZIP CODE]. I’m calling to ask Representative [NAME] to support H.R.1. The ‘For The People Act’. It is a crucial piece of legislation to protect our democracy.
