After a year off due to the pandemic, UUFSD will again join in providing food and shelter to individuals without homes at St. James Catholic Church in Solana Beach. We have been doing this for many, many years. The dates when we’ll provide volunteers to bring dinners and to be overnight hosts are January 29 until February 6. This will occur at St. James.
All guests and volunteers must be fully vaccinated. Guests will be screened each night for symptoms of illness and will not stay in the shelter if they have any.
More information will follow with sign ups beginning in January. Please put the dates on your calendar now and think of how you’d like to participate. Our community typically really enjoys being part of this important project.
