Helping Our neighbors in Troubled Times

Maybe you’ve heard talk of Somos Tias around UUFSD. Or maybe not. Come to this Sunday’s service to learn who this dedicated and mighty local group is and how it’s supporting our neighbors under siege. Learn how its values align with ours.

Many members of UUFSD are actively involved in Somos Tias and many others are offering support. We’re delighted to have guest speakers from our Solana Beach and Encinitas communities to share their stories and also two powerful musicians, Peggy Watson and David Beldock, to share their music.

One thing Somos Tias does is deliver weekly food boxes to vulnerable families. There’s a need now for small boxes of sugar, toothpaste, and spices (garlic, onion and chili). Feel free to bring those to the service this Sunday if you want to jump right in! If you’re a Tias member, feel free to wear your tee shirt. Questions?
