This monthly discussion group meets to examine our 6 UU sources of wisdom, by hosting various topics for reflection and sharing. A different member hosts the topic each month. Sacred Text discussion is not an academic exercise but a spiritual quest.
We meet live in the Library (or Founders Hall if the Library is not available) on the third Saturday of the month from 11 am to 12:30 pm, and on Zoom. Email Rich at ridumac@yahoo.com to get on the mailing list.
This month Robin Mitchell will present: miracles; stories about God or the gods intervening in human affairs in ways that defy the laws of nature. Bring some examples of miracle stories from other religious traditions so that we can discuss what makes them miraculous, what they do for that religion, and what they might mean to us as UUs.
