Racial Justice Book Club

Next meeting Sunday, July 19th, 5:00-6:30pm
The Racial Justice Book Club will be discussing the non-fiction work by Ibram X. Kendi, How to Be an Antiracist (2019). Simply not being racist isn’t enough. Racism is centered in bad policy, not bad people. Kendi employs history, science, and ethics to describe different forms of racism and how to build an equitable society.
Since we will be discussing the topics brought up by the book, we will divide this book into three sessions:
June 28th – Chapters 1-6
July 12th — Chapters 7-12
July 19th — Chapters 13-18.
