Postcarding to Support Federal Ban on Assault Weapons Sunday, September 15 – During the Gathering Hour in the Core Area
By early February, more Americans are killed with guns than are killed in our peer countries in an entire calendar year. (Source: Everytown For Gun Safety) A federal bill – “The Assault Weapons Ban of 2019” – is currently making its way through Congress. Recent polls show that at least 2/3 of Americans support a nationwide assault weapons ban. Indivisible Patriots and the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force invite you to write to your US Representative and ask them to support this legislation. (If they already support it, write them a thank you postcard!)
