The Kumeyaay Study Group will meet two more times this year, then decide on plans for 2022. The Zoom meeting dates will be Wednesday Nov.10 and Wednesday December 8, 2021. You are welcome to come even if you have not yet attended.
Last week Alison presented information on gaming, including some videos. The discussion suggested the session altered many of our views about Indian gaming. The next session will focus on education. Future possible topics include reparations, climate change, PBS movies, and evolving into a book group with titles like An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States.
