The UUFSD Racial Justice Task Force and our partner organization Showing Up For Racial Justice (SURJ) North Count invites members and friends to join the Civilian Law Enforcement Review Board (CLERB) Town Hall on Tuesday, 3/23/21 at 6 pm. The CLERB is a County of San Diego funded Sheriff’s oversight body that serves all of San Diego County including Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Del Mar. The Sheriff’s Dept. oversees the jails, the Courts, and the Probation Department and therefore affects us all. This Town Hall will include a presentation by Paul Parker, the Executive Officer, a panel discussion with activists and family members affected by in-custody violence by Sheriff deputies, and will have a Q&A.
