This call to action specifically for survivors, comes from a number of gun violence prevention organizations and is a request for survivors to sign on to a support letter to the US Senate to urge them to confirm Steve Dettlebach as director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco (ATF). As you may know the ATF has been without a permanent director for almost 7 years and is in need of strong leadership for it to do its job of regulating the firearm industry.
