Have you ever thought of joining the choir? All are welcome, including youth!

We have an exciting fall planned with a variety of music as part of our worship services. We’ll be singing pop (Pentatonics), gospel (Bernice Johnson Reagon), contemporary classical (Bobby McFerrin), musical theatre (Leonard Bernstein), spirituals (Rollo Dilworth), and more. Our December 9 Music Sunday will honor the Black Lives Matter movement.

The choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 7 – 9 pm. From September through June, we sing twice a month at both Sunday services. While the choir works from sheet music, not all members read music. As your director, I’ll be offering some music reading instruction as part of the rehearsals. Also, as you’ll see on our website, YouTube videos are made available to help members learn the music by ear.
