The original generation of wooden buildings are all painted the same beige color. They all need to be repainted every few years.
There are many trees of all sizes throughout the site. They are threatened by drought, pests and old age. Inspect annually, trim, irrigate, plant replacements as needed.
Use native plants to displace weeds throughout the site, one patch at a time: 1) Clear non-native weeds from the patch. 2) Select and plant appropriate natives for the area. 3) Weed and water "religiously" for 1~2 yrs. 4) Start next patch.
