Equips people of faith to challenge consumerism, live justly and celebrate responsibly.

Committee for Corporate Justice
Works with companies in a non-threatening environment to create a fair and equitable workplace for all employees.

Community Resource Center
Promotes a sense of community, healthy families and responsible, capable individuals. Works to break the cycle of family violence and decrease the number of hungry and homeless people in our community.

Co-op America’s Guide to Ending Sweatshops and Promoting Fair Trade
Provides practical tips and resources that you can use every day to make a difference. Opportunities to educate yourself, buy sweatshop-fee and fair trade products, take actions to promote a sweatshop-free economy.

Economic Justice Now
Promotes economic policies and systems that foster social equity and ecological sustainability.

Environmental Health Coalition
Organizes and advocates to protect public health and the environment threatened by toxic pollution.

First UU Church of SD Site for Voluntary Simplicity
Sponsors monthly meetings with fellow UU and non-UU people who share values of simple and conscious living

Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights
Educates and organizes people of faith in order to affirm and defend the rights and dignity of all immigrants and refugees.

National Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice
Calls upon our religious values to educate, organize and mobilize the religious community in the United States on issues and campaigns that will improve wages, benefits and working conditions for workers, especially low-wage workers.

National Coalition for the Homeless
Seeks to end homelessness through its work in the following areas: housing justice, economic justice, healthcare justice, and civil rights through grassroots organizing, public education, policy advocacy, technical assistance and partnerships.

North County Forum
Promotes progressive causes, education, and culture in North San Diego County.

PFI Centre for Justice and Reconciliation
Mobilizes volunteers in 95 countries to work in prison and promote criminal justice reforms.

San Diego Coalition for Peace and Justice
A coalition of which UUFSD is a member that offers many opportunities to get involved promoting peace including regular planning meetings, networking with various peace groups around San Diego and vigils, marches, bannerings, teach-ins and more.

San Diego Foundation for Change
Funds and supports community-led efforts which promote social equality, economic justice, and environmental sustainability.

San Diego Living Wage Campaign
Works to achieve livable wages and dignity on the job for the thousands of low-wage workers that operate our regional economy.

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy (SELC)
Assists in preserving, protecting and enhancing the natural resources of the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve.

Promotes human rights and social justice worldwide through a potent combination of advocacy, education and partnerships with grassroots organizations.

Unitarian Universalists for Alternatives to the Death Penalty
An Independent Affiliate of the UUA, a social action group, seeking to give witness to the five UUA resolutions of past years calling for an end to capital punishment.

Unitarian Universalists for Drug Policy Reform
An Independent Affiliate of the UUA that distributes information to facilitate the denomination-wide study of drug policy issues encouraged by the "Alternative to the 'War on Drugs'" Study/Action Issue passed at General Assembly 2000; offers suggestions for action; and assists and coordinates drug-policy reform efforts among congregations and individual UUs.
