Grades 1-2 Picture Book Unitarian Universalism

Based on 36 picture books that teach young children about the love, reason, tolerance and good works that make up UUism. Class meets in "Treetops", second classroom up the hill past the administrative building.

Grades 3-4 Holidays and Holy Days

Gives kids an international perspective through games and activities related to celebrations from all over the world, such as Chinese New Year, Powamu (a Hopi Bean Planting ceremony), St. Patrick's Day, No Ruz (the Iranian New Year) Passover, Buddha's birthday. Each lesson relates how these traditions correspond to values and beliefs that we share as Unitarian Universalists. Class meets in the Palmer Library.

Summer Program

During the RE "off-season" we offer a fun program for the kids to meet together in the Core Area or Founders Hall. Students enjoy activities such as stories, art, music, drama, food or dance. Nursery care is provided during the summer as usual.
