Have you been saddened and disturbed by the increasing numbers of homeless individuals and families in San Diego? Do you wish there was something you could do to help? There is! UUFSD is sponsoring a Fill A Belly group meal the evening of Tuesday, May 29 at Cottonwood Creek Park, corner of Vulcan and Encinitas Blvd. in Encinitas. We need people to sign up to bring a high-protein dish, a vegetable side or a dessert for 10. A sign up sheet will be at the Happening Table in the Core Area between services and after the second service Sundays, May 6, 13, 20, and 27. You can drop off your dish at 6:45 on the 29th and if you’d like, stay to break bread with those experiencing food insecurity. Service is our prayer, and helping one another in fellowship is our covenant.
