“So You Want to Talk About Race” by Ijeoma Oluo is a book our fellowship community is invited to read and discuss to further our efforts towards racial understanding and justice.
This Sunday we will hold the first of three discussion groups dates to discuss the book in sections. If you have read at least chapter’s 1-5 we invite you to come and discuss the ideas with the Racial Justice Task Force: Rev Meghan, Robin Sales, Anne Clarkin and Julia Darling. We will be gathering in the library at 12:30 where refreshments will be available and begin our formal discussion at 12:50 so those who are attending the talk by Mike Levin in the hall can join in. (The next dates for this book discussion are: Sundays Oct 28 and Nov 11 at 12:30 in the library.)
