Last year, the day after I delivered the backpacks to the Encinitas Community Resource Center, I received this message from the Program Manager of the Domestic Violence Program:

“We are starting to give your backpacks out right away, these backpacks will give our kids a greater sense of confidence when they go to school this year”.

These donations really do make a difference in our community.

Visit us in the core area after service to help support this project. If you are not attending services in the summer you can also contribute by sending a check and writing backpack in the memo section of your check.
