Become a Member

Visitors wishing to become members should plan to attend a New Member UU Orientation Class. This class introduces the history of both the Unitarian Universalist movement and of UUFSD, and explains how both operate today.

A week or two following the orientation, those wishing to become members participate in a New Member Circle. At the New Member Circle, people share their spiritual paths, sign the membership book, and complete the membership process by filling out necessary paperwork to new member interests and information forms, including making their financial commitment.

We recognize that sometimes it is not feasible for people to attend these meetings. In such cases, persons wishing to become members can meet with the Minister and the Chairperson of the Membership Committee individually.

We are pleased that you wish to join with us. Together we can dream. Together we can create. Together we can generate the resources necessary to expand the many programs that matter to us. So share your dreams, invest your resources, and get involved in making dreams come true!
