Social Justice Film Night

Social Justice Film Night is being presented to provide a fuller, more detailed picture of the issues facing our country and the world today. Perhaps because our media is now owned by a few large corporations, and because many of us have a sense that we are not getting the full story, there seems to be an abundance of excellent independent films relevant to us both as citizens and voters.

Although, for the most part these films did not make it to the theaters, they all tell their stories in a focused, thoughtful and entertaining way. Some are analytical and thought provoking, while others powerfully emotional. A few are hilariously funny. If you like documentaries, this is the place for you.

A discussion will follow each film for those interested:
